Mud Volcano is only a 20 minute journey from Baratang Jetty by a non AC sharing jeep. Vehicles reach near to the mud Volcano after which you need to walk for 10 minutes to the site.

The mud volcano is caused by the eruption of hot mud, slurries, gases and water from the ground forming a dome-like mud structure and this is not a visually stunning sight, as most of the time there is just a pile of dried or small bubbling puddles of mud. However, Andaman is one of the few places in the world where these Volcanoes are found and you may thus want to give it a visit and it is a rare natural wonder.
